Sadly, due to the continued price rise of parts used in making the Trigger Master Mark III MOSFET unit, the price will soon be going up by $5 (from 80 to 85 USD.) This increase will be effective March 31, 2010.
Prices of several key parts have actually been up for some time now, so the MOSFET units just plain cost more to build and have for a while now. Unfortunately the time has finally come for that to be reflected in the selling price… but not until the end of the month, so order before then for the best price!

We are proud to unveil the SMU!
It’s the perfect answer to anyone who wants the advantages of high-quality MOSFET driving for their guns but doesn’t need any of the extra features found in our high-end computerized Trigger Master MOSFET units!

The new webstore has had several behind-the-scenes changes made to it, everything seems shipshape so the new store is being moved in more. Soon the old one-product-only store will be entirely replaced!
Also, some new products are on their way – I’ve been busy!

The contact forms stopped working after a server move, sorry about that! I am working on it now and will let you all know as soon as it’s up!
EDIT: It’s all back up and running. Sorry for any hassle!
New and improved wire is here in the Trigger Master MOSFET store!
The old wire was good stuff, but this new stuff is even better in every way! And best of all, it’s for the same price when you buy a wire and connector bundle or the motor/battery wire separately. (The trigger wire is improved too, but it went up in price a very small amount from 1$ to 1.25$)
Motor/Battery wire is still 16 gauge to ensure it can handle any gun’s power. But now it is also:
- 0.23mm thinner (from 1.96mm to 1.73mm)
- Teflon jacketed on the outside (thin and tough)
- Silver-coated conductors inside
- MIL-W-16878/4 rated (600V, 200 degrees celsius)
In short the new wire holds its shape better, has a tougher (and thinner) coating, and is easier to insert into the Trigger Master MOSFET’s screw terminals! And it’s the same price!
The trigger wire is now MIL-W-16878E and about 50% thinner than before with no loss in performance!
Now that you know the scoop, check out the store!

Out of stock until mid-December 2009! This is due to a major component being in short supply from the manufactuter.
This date could change – if it does I will update straight away!
If you have already ordered and paid for a unit back when the ETA was early November, don’t worry because you WILL RECEIVE YOUR ORDER! But I won’t have any more after that until mid-December.
I just got finished with addressing an issue I think is worth sharing. As many of you probably know, “lock-up” is a risk with Version 3 gearboxes firing in semi-auto.
What is Lock-Up? Every now and then, if you are firing in semi-auto with a version 3 gearbox you might get what is called “lockup”. It’s when the cutoff lever inside the gearbox disconnects the trigger BUT the trigger doesn’t reset. So you can pull the trigger all you want but nothing happens. To fix it, you briefly switch your gun over to fullauto and pull the trigger. The gearbox turns over enough to “get past” the lockup and you’re ready to rock again.
Now for semi-only guns using a Version 3 gearbox this can be a problem. You don’t want to disable fullauto on your selector completely because you’ll have no way to clear a lockup. MOSFET units don’t solve the problem entirely because the problem is in how the gearbox works.
Well if you are using a MOSFET unit (like our Trigger Master MOSFET which has semi-only firing modes) there is a way you can be sure you can always clear a lockup! (Continued)
I am pleased to announce the opening of the new web store! It is now possible to order a multitude of separate parts and connectors in any combination you want!
If you run into any problems or have any questions at all, do not hesitate to contact me and I’ll sort it out. Thank you!

I’m a bit late to the game, but with any luck I will soon be adding information on the RealSword Dragunov SVD to the Dragunov Rifles in Airsoft page. I’m very excited about this one!

I am back from a short vacation. Thanks to everyone who placed an order while I was gone!

As a thank you for your patience, every order that was placed while I was gone has also received a free gift! A Tiny Dinosaur kit (with two superfine-tipped jeweler’s tweezers) has been added to every order that was placed while I was gone!
Thank you again, and now that I’m back it’s back to business!
(And if you’re interested in that micro model kit, check it out here!)

I sometimes get asked about basic (non-computerized) MOSFET switches. Here is how to make a basic one. If you have at least basic soldering and electronic skills, you should be able to put one together without too much trouble. (Continued)
Back in stock and ready to ship! Buy now in the online store.
The store will be back in stock mid-July, but those who ordered in the meantime (pre-orders) are getting their orders filled as I speak in the order they were received.
As always, anyone who orders while we’re out of stock gets their orders filled FIRST and gets their units FIRST. Only when all of them are taken care of is the store is officially back in stock!
Thanks to everyone who came down and had fun at Zombie Night in Alberta!
The results of the game are here, along with some pictures.
And for anyone out there who is interested in the rules we used, here they are!
More available around mid-July.
Orders placed NOW in the store will be shipped FIRST when new stock is ready.
I am organizing a game this summer season in Alberta, Canada! After some years of organizing and running games, I am actually running a non-milsim!

Even if you’re not able to make it, you might be interested in the rules which I will post here in the Game Scenarios area along with some comments on how things went after the game!
Our newest Trigger Master product has been released! The new model is the MARK III. It has the same great features as the Mark II, but now comes with screw terminals to make installation easier, and can handle FOUR TIMES the power of previous models! (Not that anyone has needed that much yet…) Read on for more details!

Here is a link to The RFID Skull Project, which is a custom made skull that lets you play an Airsoft version of HALO’s multiplayer game “Oddball”. Players compete to possess the skull, which identifies the player holding it via an RFID tag. The Skull tracks how long it is held (players drop it once they are killed) and keeps track of scores. Technical details are all available so you can make your own, but it’s a pretty advanced project.
