Sniper Lock-in Unit

This unit is a plug-and-play add-on compatible with any Trigger Master Mark III unit with the number "3.8" or later on the bottom. (This should include any unit sold in 2010 and later.)

When plugged into a Trigger Master Mark III, the Sniper Lock-In unit temporarily locks the gun into semi-only operation for a period of no less than 12 hours. During this time, only semi-auto firing modes can be used. (That's the "Semi-Only" or "Sniper/DM" firing modes.)

• To activate, the Sniper Lock-in Unit must be plugged in when the battery is connected to the gun. (The startup vibration from the Trigger Master Mark III will be twice as long as normal with this unit plugged in.)
• Once activated, the unit can be removed and the gun will REMAIN locked to allow semi-auto modes only until the time is up. (If you try to change to a non-semi firing mode, the gun will ignore you.)
• After 12 straight hours of being powered on, the gun will no longer be restricted to semi-only firing modes (unless the Sniper Lock-in Unit is still plugged in.)
• If the power is disconnected, the 12 hour timer restarts. There is NO WAY to skip the timer or "break out" of the forced semi-auto mode until the time is up!

So in short:

• To force a gun into semi-only modes, power it up while the Sniper Lock-in Unit is plugged in.
• To get out of semi-only mode, remove the Sniper Lock-in Unit and then leave the gun plugged into a battery for 12 straight hours. After the 12 hours are up, you can use all the firing modes again. (If you remove power early, the 12 hour timer will restart.)
• Once you have gone into Sniper Lock-in, the only way out is to wait at least 12 hours!

This unit can be useful for Game Admins to enforce semi-only rules for AEGs that are equipped with a compatible Trigger Master Mark III. If you witness a player power up their gun with a unit plugged in, you can be assured that the gun will stay in semi-only for at least the next 12 hours.
